A new customer reached out to us after chatting with his HVAC contractor. During HVAC service work he was informed he had a Federal Pacific electrical panel. He did some research on line and wanted it replaced.
The old saying goes “if it isn’t’ broke don’t fix” but in this situation having outdated breakers that will not trip when there’s an overload of a circuit is dangerous.
We priced out the panel change, pulled a permit and scheduled the work. Attached are the images of the before and finished product.
- A new Siemens 30 circuit panel with main breaker to replace the Federal Pacific panel
- A new 100 AMP meter socket to replace the outdated existing
- A new Siemens breaker properly sized for every existing circuit
- Built a beautifully painted backboard to mount the equipment
- Grounded the main electrical system including driving two ground rods-and installing an intersystem grounding bridge
- Labeled the panel
- Final inspection by a 3rd party accredited inspection agency
