As the winter blues set in, Lauterborn Electric has been out doing some knob and tub removal/ remediation in Port Richmond and Fairmount. The customers had varying types of older wiring including knob and tube, cloth wiring, and outdated BX.
These homes like many houses we’re seeing have had some areas rewired. The harder areas to get to in these properties are usually untouched and have old original forms of wiring.
We treated these houses with the Lauterborn Electric touch trying to minimize the damage. However we have to make some holes to get the wiring brought up to the newest standards.
