Lauterborn Electric was called out to a property in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia to troubleshoot and evaluate multiple electrical issues.
When we arrived, we saw two totally cluttered electrical panels with wires going in all directions. The main breaker in the first panel was double tapped to feed an additional panel.
The evaluation revealed one of the connections on the load side of the meter box was burning up as a result of a loose connection. The lug was completely fused due to years of arching which caused the customer to only have half power.
We recommended and the owner agreed to upgrade to a new 200 AMP service. The images show the before and after.
The home owner wrote a short but to the point review which read:
