Lights blinking and power coming in and out are all typical service related issues we often diagnose and repair for our customers sometimes in an emergency situation. This time the emergency occurred right at the Lauterborn Electric location! It was like Poltergeist at the Lauterborn Electric headquarters.
We opened up the combination 200 AMP meter/main breaker located on the exterior and found corrosion and evidence of water entering the enclosure. A replacement of the main service box and a new service drop was the remedy to the strobe lighting.
A new 200 AMP meter/breaker main box and a new 200 AMP service drop sleeved in PVC for added protection were installed. Two hours later, Lauterborn Electric was once again up and running with another VERY satisfied customer.
