Working Clearance

by Lauterborn Electric on October 19th, 2015

Lauterborn ElectricLauterborn Electric was called out to an apartment complex which had one of its units without power.  The first thing we asked the customer was if they had called PECO to make sure that they had not shut them off.   When we arrived at the property we went to where the electrical equipment was in the basement and the picture shows what we saw.  After the equipment was installed the previous owner had a room installed around the electrical equipment giving us very little room to work on the equipment.  Electrical equipment is supposed to have a working clearance of 36 inches. This had 12 inches of clearance making it very hard to fix the problem they were having.  In the end Lauterborn Electric got the apartments power back up and running even with having to deal with tough working conditions.  For all your electrical needs contact your Philadelphia Electricians Lauterborn Electric.  Click Images to Enlarge.
